The trailtalon 290 is the perfect shoe for beaten trails, hard paths, stone roads. It is also great for the "urban" trail, for park paths, gravel, dirt roads. It can be a favorite shoe for everyday training as well as a starter in long runs on relatively easy routes. The upper construction gives a perfect fit to the foot, increased protection and comfort during the ultra distance, when the foot is already swelling. The two-part POWERFLOW foam provides good cushioning at 8 mm drop, its elasticity guarantees 10% more protection and 15% more energy return from the ground. The tread is expressive with 4mm wide studs, but the main feature of trail talon is the rubber compound from which the sole is made. Harder on the heel - most exposed to abrasion, soft on the sides - anti-slip and adhesive on the midfoot, which gives the feeling of sticking to a hard surface. The upper is made of mesh, covered with a thin layer of rubber to increase its strength. The front of the toes is protected with cast rubber, the lacing combined with stripes in the upper construction holds the foot well in the shoe. The tongue is integrated with the upper, which prevents small stones and litter from falling in. There are also brackets for inov-8 gaiters.
