The original is even better. The X-talon 230 is a new sole with STICKY GRIP rubber, now more adhesive to hard ground.
When the x-talon entered the market, they were the lightest shoes designed for off-road running (only a few athletic models of cross-country bikes could boast about similar parameters). Over time, the competition caught up a bit, but the x-coupon is unmatched when it comes to combining lightness and resistance to violent treatment. They won more championship titles in cross-country races than in any other competition model.
In the world of rallying and tourism, no one can match them in terms of traction and incredible lightness. The sole is made of a very adhesive rubber compound with parameters similar to climbing footwear. The 8 mm tread resembles a deep mud tire and this is the element of x-coupons. Above is a small layer of POWER FLOW foam that gives off more energy at reflection than traditional EVA. In the sole, the META PLATE plate protects the foot against sharp rocks. The lower part of the upper stabilizes the leg and protects against knocks on the toes or side of the foot. It is also waterproof (up to approx. 4 cm high). Even the laces have been slimmed down! The upper part of the upper - now additionally covered with a DWR coating, protecting against water and mud getting into Wednesday.
