Hardrocker Vest/Backpack "Wild & Tough" - Ultimate Direction

Hardrocker Vest is a limited edition of the Ultimate Direction "Wild & Tough" 2017-2018, dedicated to the most famous 100 mile run in the USA - Hardrocker Endurance Run - the dream of hundreds of ultra runners.

The backpack has a unique design referring to the appearance of old trekking backpacks used on the trails in the American mountains. Ultra light and breathable material resembles washed jeans. Overcoming kilometers of trails in it, you can feel like one of the pioneers of the Wild West, an array of spectacular stripes illustrating the famous graffiti on the stone at the Hardrocker finish.

In addition to the appearance, the vest is also very well refined in terms of functionality, capacity and lightness. It has a separate space for a 2-liter bottle with a handle. The main zippered compartment hides inside a piece of waterproof material with the fluorescent Hardrock Run logo - when it rains, you can remove the material and use the hooks to stretch it over the entire backpack, which will protect the contents from getting wet. On the back, there is an additional large pocket made of flexible material, closed with a hook, which can be stuffed with a jacket or other item of clothing without the risk of getting lost. It is also easily accessible, a small zippered pocket with a carabiner inside. The whole can be easily compressed with a rope. In the front, on the straps, a lot of pockets made of elastic material: a pocket for 0.5l softflask, 2 adjacent pockets for gels, below a larger non-closed pocket, on the other: a closed phone pocket, two gel pockets and a larger one, closed with a zipper. On the sides, two pockets also with zippers to facilitate the organization of things.

An interesting addition are two pockets closed with Velcro placed on the straps, from which they can be removed, one of them is dedicated to Spot Trace - a special GPS tracker. The backpack is equipped with handles for trekking poles at the front, which definitely improves their stability and ease of use. The backpack is fastened with two chest straps with adjustable height, at the top buckle a whistle. The whole can be comfortably and quickly adapted to the body using the new Comfort Cinch Technology. The backpack is perfectly finished in every respect with many pockets and nooks and crannies to fit what is necessary for a longer hiking trip or weekend trip, and above all for participating in the Hardrock Endurance Run :)
